What is Sharing Christ?
Sharing Christ is a seven-week course to train Catholics who have completed Discovering Christ and Following Christ how to share Jesus with others and invite them to become members of the Church. The course focuses on personal or friendship evangelization, how we share our relationship with Jesus with people in our day-to-day encounters. We will develop methods and actions to do this. But more than that, the goal is to develop an attitude of heart that moves us to be open to share the Good News we have experienced anytime and anywhere.
Who should attend Sharing Christ?
The Sharing Christ course is the third course in the three-curriculuum series of ChristLife. Sharing Christ is open to all yet is perfectly suited for those who have completed Discovering Christ and Following Christ, as it builds upon what participants learned and experienced in those first two courses. Sharing Christ includes seven sessions, the final of which is a day retreat. A Commissioning Rite and Blessing during the parish Saturday 4 PM Mass is included at the conclusion of the course.
Six Mondays, 5:30 PM – 7:45 PM April 6 - May 11
Retreat Day (Final Session), 9 AM - 4 PM Saturday, May 16
Stay for 4 PM Mass during which Fr. Jerry will provide participants with a blessing and Rite of Commissioning
No cost to participate in Sharing Christ. Light snacks / desserts included.
