Ministries
We are blessed to be a part of a vibrant faith community, one built upon fellowship, service, and the celebration of shared beliefs. As our parish continues to grow, so do the opportunities to serve one another and deepen our connection to God and each other.
No matter your background, experience, or availability, there is a place for you!
Volunteering for an individual event, or participating in an ongoing ministry is a wonderful way to grow in faith, build friendships, and make a meaningful impact. We are happy to answer questions and help you find a ministry that best fits your interests and schedule. Consider this an invitation to serve! Together, we can continue to make Holy Family Parish a welcoming, loving home for all.

Other Parish Ministries
Circle of Women
The Circle of Women holds its meetings on the third Thursday of the month, September through May at 1pm in the parish hall. The Circle hosts luncheons, a Christmas Party, Bingo, Morning of Reflection, along with other informative meetings. Proceeds from its annual spring and fall rummage/bake sales enabled us to award scholarships to parish college students and to support various local, regional and international organizations. The Circle brings comfort to parishioners who have lost loved ones by serving funeral luncheons. All women of the parish are invited to join in the fellowship of our group.
Greeting Card Ministry
A few weeks before major holidays, greeting cards for parishioners who are ill, bereaved, or unable to attend Mass are made available. Children are encouraged to add their names. Cards and postage are provided by the Knights of Columbus and their spouses.
GriefShare
Learn MoreGriefShare is a video seminar series that features some of the nation’s foremost Christian experts on grief and recovery topics, as seen from a biblical perspective. The video seminars are combined with support group discussion of the materials presented in the videos. The one-time fee for the workbooks is $35. Join us anytime. Have you lost someone you loved? No matter if it has been a month or years, it is still the hardest experience to journey through alone. Grief Share is a non-denominational program hosted by Holy Family.

Pastoral Care
The Pastoral Care Ministry is dedicated to keeping all members of Holy Family meaningfully connected to the parish community through compassionate outreach to those who are homebound, hospitalized, or receiving hospice care. Through these visits, ministers bring the blessing of the Eucharist while offering prayer, companionship, and spiritual support to individuals who may be isolated, ill, or in need of encouragement.
Pastoral Care Ministers are committed to listening, praying, and providing Christ-centered care to those who are homebound, residing in hospitals or assisted living facilities, or facing special circumstances and needs. In addition, the ministry seeks to help parishioners remain engaged in the life of the Church by connecting them with opportunities to participate in the various ministries and activities of the parish community.

Prayer Chain Ministry
The prayer chain is a group of people who promise to pray for people who ask for prayers. The chain starts by calling a prayer coordinator. That person starts the chain. They call a person in their prayer group, then that person calls another in the group and so it continues until all members of the group are contacted. The coordinators names and phone numbers are listed in the Sunday bulletin. Anything that needs prayers can be submitted; like sickness, job situations, family problems, a crisis of faith, dying, poor souls, etc. It has to be done by phone because these things are personal and need to be kept confidential. New members are always welcome to join prayer chains.
Prayer Shawl Ministry
Members of this ministry are ladies who donate their time and talent by creating hand-knitted and crocheted shawls for those in need of comfort. As the knitters are working they are petitioning God with every stitch on behalf of the person who will receive the shawl. This ministry has been active in the parish for almost five years and has produced literally hundreds of shawls for those in our parish needing comfort.
This ministry is open to all those who love to knit or crochet. For more information, or if you are in need of a prayer shawl contact 715-356-6284.
Quilting Ministry
The Holy Family Circle of Quilters has been making quilts for the past seven years. We get together once a week on Tuesday mornings at 9:00 am in classroom 7 during the fall and winter seasons, putting together quilts we later raffle. We also make lap quilts for shut-ins and small quilts for children.
We use raffle and donation money to purchase fabric for projects and donate excess. We like to give to the youth ministry for their summer events and to NATH. We have also bought a vacuum cleaner for the American Legion Camp for cleaning their summer cabins.
The Quilters enjoy the sociability of our regular meetings, and new members—either beginners or experienced quilters are always welcome!
Respect Life Ministry
Pro-Life WisconsinThe Respect for Life Committee, embraces the seamless continuity of God's gift of Life, based on pope Francis's message, "Open your Hearts to Life." The Respect for Life Committee of Holy Family is developing an overall vision for the parish. We gather and offer information that promotes understanding and awareness of all aspects of the Gospel of Life. We provide opportunities for prayer that focus on current life issues including but not limited to poverty, hunger, abortion, mental illness, human trafficking, and community disasters or emergencies. By increasing awareness we will see those around us in new ways and with renewed respect, mercy and love.
