Order of Christian Initiation of Adults

(OCIA)

The Order of Christian Initiation of Adults Program (OCIA) is held on Wednesday evenings from 5:30 to 7:00 pm. This program is offered to those who are considering becoming Catholic, interested in learning more about the Roman Catholic faith, or are Catholic adults who have not been confirmed. It is also available for any Catholic seeking an intense "refresher" experience.

The focus of the OCIA program at Holy Family seeks to provide a solid grounding in Roman Catholic doctrine. Even more important, however, it strives to help participants (and sponsors!) develop a deeper relationship with the Lord through reading, discussion and prayer experience. The program draws from both ancient and contemporary Church authors.
