The Grotto at Holy Family - NEW INITIATIVE!

A proposal has been presented to the leadership of Holy Family Parish to create and build The Grotto at Holy Family on our parish grounds in Woodruff. This sacred outdoor space is envisioned as a place of prayer, reflection, and meditation—an environment that encourages a deeper encounter with Jesus and offers tranquility, peace, healing, and spiritual renewal.
A grotto of this kind would be a unique addition to northern Wisconsin, as there are very few such prayer sites throughout the state. Located outdoors and accessible to all, The Grotto at Holy Family has the potential to become a destination for parishioners, local residents, visitors, and pilgrimage groups seeking a quiet place for prayer and contemplation.
Most importantly, The Grotto at Holy Family will be a welcoming place for everyone—people of faith, those exploring their faith, and even those with no religious affiliation. It will provide a peaceful setting where individuals can bring their hopes, concerns, gratitude, and intentions before God. No one will need to be Catholic to experience the comfort and serenity this space will offer.
The proposed location for the grotto is the wooded area east of the parish offices. This site provides convenient accessibility, ample parking, and prominent visibility for those entering the church grounds from Highway J.

As planning continues, we will share additional details and opportunities for parishioners and community members to become involved in this exciting project. We welcome your ideas, prayers, and support as we work together to bring this vision to life.

Catholic Services Appeal
CSA Donation FormThe theme for the 2025-2026 Catholic Services Appeal (CSA) is “Encountering Christ, Transforming Lives."
Persons centered on the Eucharist put their faith in action as grateful Disciples of Christ. While parishes rely on the financial stewardship of generous parishioners like you through weekly offertory collections, no single parish could exist on its own without the programs, services, and ministries supported through the CSA.
The scope of these services and ministries make giving to the CSA as important as any donation you may make this year. Your gifts provide support the education of our seminarians; your future parish priests, encourages religious vocations and vocations to married life, help our youth continue to grow in relationship with God and provide parish management and fundraising support.
